EXPLORE SOLAR DATA: INSOLATION

If we want to know how well a photovoltaic system will work, we need to predict how much sun it will receive (or insolation), based on geographical location. Find Arizona on the U.S. insolation map. Note that the amount of insolation is reported as a range, and that Arizona is covered by two colors, or two ranges. How many watts of sunlight per square meter per day does.

Average Daily Insolation: United States
